A while ago before reading your article l had water accident with my laptop. l try dry for 7 hours. but l cant wait l was ancious of it working. so apply drying machine. l start it, it work but the mous refuse to funtion. pls what should l do? myemail is obayemijohnsona2yahoo.com

I would try this but I never had a spill and I don’t plan to anytime. I do not put drinks near my laptop and I also have a silicon protector over it.

Awesome tips, thanks. I am going to print this and put in my office. My officemate has spilled stuff on his laptop once in the past..but got away without any detrimental effect…i am sure he is going to do it again pretty soon and will need this.:)

I’ll vouch for this. These steps have saved my ass several times.

One of the things I look for in a new laptop is how easy it is to remove the battery in a pinch.
