I finally bit the bullet and ordered a new laptop. 2.0 Ghz Core 2 Duo with 2 GB RAM, 256 MB video RAM, and a 80 GB hard drive (not counting my external one) should take care of my needs for a long while.

There Should Be A Pill To Make People Stop Spending My first dumb reaction to this was that there already is a pill for this: Valium. I had a relative get hooked on Valium and Darvon once upon a time; she was a compulsive shopper, but soon had no compulsion to do anything. Whats really sad is it’s not much better for the employees here in the states. My husband and I both worked for dell for years, met there in fact. Us trying to call or transfer to our own customer service or tech support…..hell on earth I say. Just plain awful!
