		<description><![CDATA[The comments by the teacher reminds me of my ex-daughter-in-law, also a teacher. She buys teaching aids (Mostly videos and CD&#039;s) like mad off half.com and shopgoodwill.com. She then resells them on half.com and buys more. Her bottom line is negligible. Since she was teacher of the year for her district, she&#039;s doing something right. She&#039;s also a contributon to my book, Living Cheap &amp; Loving It, tomatoes in the flower bed. See posted website if interested.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[One of the largest users of electricity is the water heater.  Most are set slightly too hot at 140*F, but by changing the thermostat on the water heater down by 20* to 120*F, you stand to save more on your electric bill than most anything else. I didn&#039;t notice much of a difference while showering, and I like them hot.
The NY Times had an excellent writeup of one of their reporters who decided to go on an Energy Diet
