Very nice overview and a good tip on the cache plugin. I have got to lifehacker & del.icio.us frontpage recently with my blog and the experience was very similar.

That’s really amazing. It’s like one of those “getting rich over night” stories, only this is real. And writing five or six long, quality articles every day is one more thing beyond my imagination. Congratulations!

I came to the site via Digg then added the link to my del.icio.us bookmarks, as well as added your RSS feed to my feed reader, Google Reader.

I’ve read a lot of the entries you have and have found most of them to be very well written and quite thought provoking. So, if for anything, you’ve gained one more full-time reader.

Great job on the successful weekend! Thanks for the lessons learned. One thing you might add to your Building a Better Blog series is targeting readers.

Don’t know if you had this intention when you wrote your “smash hit” article or not but ProBlogger has talked about how he’ll write certain articles specifically targeted towards readers of a blog like Life Hacker. Intentional or not, you’ve shown this to be a very successful strategy!

Usually people read lifehacker using RSS feeds. Since they don’t update regularly, the clicks from their viewers is so widespread.

Wow, congrats. That is absolutely amazing traffic numbers, considering you only just recently launched your site. I read your site every day and always find something interesting..you deserve all the traffic. Now if only the rest of us could be getting 1,000 hits a day I am sure people would be happy, never mind 90,000!
