Robert Kiyosaki is simply the worst financial advice writer I have ever read. He is downright dangerous. Some gullible readers apparently think he has something important to say. Please refer to his 1 May 07 article "Playing the Mutual Fund lottery." This is beyond doubt the single worst advice column I have ever seen and sits alone at the top of the Bad Advice Hall of Shame. How can anyone reading this blog read this article think otherwise?

Thanks for reminding me of these columns.

I read them for the first few weeks they were published, but then gave up on them because they didn't have an RSS feed.

Now they have RSS feeds, and I just added the "good" ones to my daily list.

I'm a diehard Yahoo! Finance guy myself. And you got it spot on...almost. I for one have never read anything from Suze Orman that wasn't already painfully obvious or so mundane it didn't matter.

You should also read Charles Wheelan's earlier material from the archives. It used to be better. I don't know what happened.

I totally agree with you on the good. I don't regularly read most of the "bad" ones, so I guess agree with you on that, too!

Great assessment, personally I like reading Kiyosaki but I agree that it's a bit of a rehash of his previous work with only a few things thrown in.
