Hey Trent, Good suggestions on hosting a Super Bowl party. I just worked on a web site and blog for ISU Extension where a blog post was "<a href="http://blogs.extension.iastate.edu/foodsavings/2009/01/21/host-a-super-bowl-party-for-12-for-20/" rel="nofollow">Host a Super Bowl party for 12 for $20</a>". The menu included Popcorn, Chili, carrots and celery, brownies, and powder drink mix. Of course other beverages would add to the cost:-)

You're going to be the one crying tomorrow, buddy! :P

I'd also recommend making Chex mix, in addition to the roll-ups. Three boxes of cereal and a can of nuts makes an astonishing amount of salty snacky goodness. I love Superbowl parties. :)

Another idea for free entertainment: Pass around some sheets of paper to your guests and have them write down and rate their favorite commercials. Then, at the end of the game you can argue (and remember) which commercial was best.

The commercials might even be up on YouTube by the end of the game for some instant replay.
