I taught him how to use AppleWorks, which is a word processing program for the mac. He was so impressed with my computer skills, he kept asking me to marry him. Three times, in fact. I just laughed. Then I met his wife and understood why he asked me to marry him. (just a side note)
Kurt was a wonderful, charming, kind man. I have often told this story to others, but they never believe me. But it is true. Kurt did not like computers. (and his wife didn’t like the printer I sold her and demanded it’s pick up, at her NYC apartment immediately. My experience with her was not a pleasant one.) Kurt, on the otherhand was a true gentleman. He calmly tried his best to learn how to use his Apple computer.
May he rest in peace. I shall miss him.
