Yeah… the “20 Signs That A Pink Slip Is Coming” was about two weeks too late for me, as my bosses did about 12 of the things on that list prior to letting me go. Luckily, I’d been working on your “31 Days to Fix Your Finances,” reading some other sites, and thanks to other people’s good ideas, I’ve been able to make $50 of food last for 5 weeks. I went to the grocery store again today, and expect to be able to do the same.

That said, unemployment won’t be such a shock to my wallet.
