Last night for supper, I diced an onion, took four bottles of beer, and boiled six bratwursts, the onion, and the beer until all there was left was a syrupy, thick substance and the cooked bratwursts. Then I spread this syrupy onion-beer solution onto the bratwursts and grilled them for a bit, making the coating hot and almost like a soft crust around the bratwurst, keeping the inside deliciously moist. Wonderful. I only ate one of them (allowed by my Volumetrics diet, which has been going really well). I really, really should start a food blog - if only I had the time.
