Just today I saw the video available at my local Public Library. It carries the same title. It was great to see Julie Morgenstern's presentation done on PBS. She included some before and after photos and altogether it was highly motivating. She has a very positive approach and her steps are easy to follow. I think I will purchase the book now to have a reference and go back to it when I need to. I just came back from a two day training session on a related topic, but nothing in that session grabbed my attention as much as Julie's approach to organizing. Well worth it - see her on video and/or read her book if you can.

Same here. Organization has been a working progress for me. Having a poor attention span doesn't help either. I love containers-tins, totes, baskets, boxes, etc. When I find a cheap, useful container I pick it up. It will always have a use. I think it's important, too, that everything have a place. I try to put things away when I'm done with them but, if I don't, I will take a few min. @ the end of the day to pick up. It's nice to wake up to a clean house. I believe one's environment has a direct effect on how they feel, think, and how productive they are. Some times I'll stuff all kinds of crap in the closet, giving me a false sense of order. The funny thing is-I can get everything clean and organized, turn around, and I'm back to square one.

This book and Flylady.net both totally transformed my life. I was hopelessly disorganized until I read these two, and now I am very organized. A must read, in my opinion.
