There are only a few SUVs that can accommodate my very tall husband. This vehicle is an absolute pleasure to drive and I saved a couple thousand bucks. (An SUV is mandatory equipment to get to my house 9 months of the year). If you want a lexus, look into one used. It might not be as bad as you think and really, it’s a toyota so it’s a great car!

I loved your retro post. My relatives are very much into appearances.It does bothers me sometimes that they seem to enjoy ‘the good life’ while I’m in a small apartment saving money.

The post motivated me to keep at it and I loved the tips. I’ll work on cleaning my car. It is a mess and I realize that it would help me to feel a little better.

(Mine are edible landscaping, clothesline, bicycling, and someday, solar panels.)

That way you can think – ‘they’re choosing vanilla, I’m choosing chocolate’ whenever feeling jealous of whatever they’ve got now. Sometimes I reward myself with an extra something in ‘my flavor’ – that way I use their consumerism to fuel my goals.
