But I do agree with the authors that most people would do something altruistic. Like many, I have plenty of ideas in that space, just no time. So instead of chipping in with the labor for the local bike path and hiking trails, I chip in with dollars. In my experience, that's much less satisfying. That would be me. How do you know me so well? :-) I'd say: the answers to the questions mentioned are very personal if not intimate. I suggest taking some time to think about them in a deep way without interference from others or judgement. Answering those questions (before reading YMOYL) I came up with very interisting plans for my future, and found a strong will to go after them. “content to explore on his bicycle for years.”
