This is a great post. I just bought GTD by Allen as well as some of the others.

I would highly recommend that you add this to your ‘best of…’ list, I believe that it qualifies particularly since it is the product of so much reading, reviewing, and work. It will make it easier to get to in the future!

I am sorta a self-help book fanatic (I get it from my father). In this vein I just decided to buy “GTD” – but I scoured your blog for a ranking of books before I did. You must’ve heard me thinking b/c here is the list I was looking for. Thanks!

I hadn’t heard of “Never Eat Alone” before now. It sounds like I could really use that book. You say it helps the introvert learn to better relate to others, huh? Maybe I’ll put it on my Christmas list. :)

Wow! Never knew there were so many good books I missed. Thanks for this list, we won’t be wasting our hard-earned bucks on useless stuff. A penny saved is a penny earned.

Not sure if others are having the same problem, but I’m having serious font issues with your page. Starts of VERY small and then gets progressively bigger. I’ve tried adjusting the font size and that doesn’t help. This has been happening for a few days now.

I definately agree with your choice of including Lifehacker, GTD and How to Win friends and Influence people. Thery’re good books and very helpful.
