Now why would you advocate giving up coffee (post on 10/23)and eating cinnamon rolls all the time? Replacing caffeine, which they are starting to say is not such a bad thing, with sugar-laden foods, which no one can argue is not a good thing. Just wondering...

I recommend whole wheat pastry flour for baking if you don't normally like the whole-wheat flour taste in whatever it is you're making. It tastes like it was made with white flour, but you still get the fiber.

I am one of those individuals that can't get life insurance. I had cancer at 18 (10yrs this summer - WOOOEEE!). I applied once and was turned down and I had no idea why. It's amazing how normal being a survivor gets.

Craving the cinnamon rolls as well...

I'm probably overstepping my bounds here. But...a day after telling us that you are working on losing weight, you send us a recipe for cinnamon rolls complete with lots of sugar and white flour. Although special occasions are fine, I do think some of your make-ahead recipes could use re-worked to be healthier. Of course, I am now craving cinnamon rolls, so they obviously sound delicious and you are throwing me off my diet as well!

From the post about life insurance - "if you have no dependents and no spouse, don’t buy life insurance"

I disagree for two reasons:

1) You should carry at least enough life insurance to cover your final expenses (funeral, etc.) so your family (parents, siblings) will not have to pay the roughly $10,000.

2) You never know when you might get really sick, basically disqualifying you from life insurance in the future. For example, say you are 25 and single and you get cancer and successfully treat it. Then you get married and have kids, it will be very difficult to obtain life insurance ever again.

I recommend a young single person to at least carry a small (inexpensive) term policy for these two reasons.
