Trent, I have been reading everything you have written since I signed up for simple dollar. I think you are definately on the right tract. I hope you continue to write about the things we all have in common, financial, frugual, cooking, homeownership, and time management. I love what you have to say, and have implemented your thoughts in life and in my head. I’m was/is a professional organizer mostly in my younger days but still do a project from time to time and consider myself frugal, but even so I have learned a lot from you. I also found the Cost of Living article to be very good.

It really is amazing how much variation there is from city to city in terms of how much it costs to raise a family (even more than was shown in the graphs, I believe).

I think often folks who live in less expensive areas (not necessarily you, Trent, but other people I’ve seen comment on various things) really don’t grasp how tough it is for people in some major metropolitan areas to just get by, let alone get ahead.

Getting A Life is really new-agey. I mean, even more than YMOYL. There are some interesting things about implementation, but mostly it’s… yeah, I didn’t find it worthwhile.

The Cost of Living article was fantastic. Our area isn’t as high as the bay are, but housing is overpriced and wages are too low.

Fantastic job on the book review and I look forward to #2 Trent!
