It's very interesting to read about Graham in this book and what kind of a guy he was. Very intelligent, kind of quirky, and not nearly as driven to make money as Buffett was/is. Graham would've recommended screening for the correct value criteria first. He would've advocated 10 years of positive earnings, a consistent and rising dividend yield, a reasonable PE, and more. The S&P 500 is currently filled with many companies such as banks that lost money last year, as well as companies that aren't necessarily that cheap.
