I was close to being debt-free early last year (minus our mortgage). I had a plan, and was implementing it. However, I lost sight of my goal and made some purchases (I don’t regret them, they were things that were needed for our home), and left my plan behind.

The economy has gotten much worse, and my husband’s job depends on it pretty directly. We don’t have as much coming in as we did this time last year, and we have nearly maxed out credit cards and other debts as a result.

I have since redeveloped my plan, and am again implementing it. I have learned from my mistakes, and yours from reading The Simple Dollar. I guess in sort, you’re my support group to keep me in line with my goals!

I really really appreciate all that you have going on here.
