If you are interested in learning more, or becoming a certified Project/Program Management Professional (PMP certification), see if its advantageous in your industry and check out the PMI site (pmi.org). The PMBoK is largely tool based (Gantt charts, forward/backward pass, risk management impact matrix, and others), but they are clean and relatively simple.
