Rich people do not give more, unless it is to someone who can help them. When it comes to giving that will not directly benefit you, the middle class into the poor give much, much more proportionally. I have read this in several believable posts lately.

I’ve re-read it a few times. I think it should be required reading in high school or college classes.

One of the people in Bacon’s network was a man named Bernie Madoff…and Bacon and his wife were one of his victims.
