It seems that our society is headed towards being one where there is no direct social interaction whatsoever. Emails, texting, video conferencing, soon we’ll never see another person face-to-face.

This has even affected our family holiday gatherings (without getting too far off the point).

Our siblings, who sometimes only see each other once a year–seem to go through the motions of taking an interest in each other’s lives, and then its off to the computer or their netbook, to catch up on emails, check Twitter, so on and so forth.

Sounds like the book is definitely worth reading.

But yes . . . an excellent book from a tremendous artist!
