Tried to click on the link about How to Sell Yourself on Change I think it’s called…keep getting “oops, can’t find the page” message. Was hoping to read it because our finances have taken a horrific tumble due to no work and the change is frightening for me.

I know it is not from the same time period, but if you want history changers, try Richard Feynman’s “The Meaning of it All”. Not to be confused with Monty Python’s “The Meaning of Life”.

My psych professor knew the names of the whole class at the end of the first class period. Years later I met him on the street and he greeted me by name. I was amazed.

I’ve gotten some better at attaching names to faces, but if I don’t, I just admit to recognizing them but not being able to recall their name at that moment – & if they haven’t called me by name either, I re-introduce myself.

One of our local medical clinics has a huge clientele, & the doctor in charge of it remembers everyone (name & some personal details), even outside the clinic setting. It’s truly amazing.

Thanks for including the “How to remember a persons name and what to do when you can’t”. I am horrible at remembering people’s names and have gotten used to using tricks to get around it but I should try to get better at it.
