I have this piece by Robert Frost on my desk and I read it from time to time. It is one of my favorite poems. How true for most of us. We always think we will go back and recapture things that were lost but we can never get back that exact same feeling or get back to that exact place, however, looking back, the path we took was often the best for us.
I have friends that lament what they didn't do, but I tell them that if you made the best decision at the time with the information you had, then you did the best you could. Coming at the event from years out with different information makes you second guess your decision but you can't do that because you are in a different place now.
