In the past 5 years food is up 16.7% total and 3.1% annually. $1 of food in 2007 would equate to $1.17 today.

OK, so it seems no matter what I post, it gets siphoned off into moderation-land, so I might as well give up trying to post short comments, avoiding special keywords and whatnot.

Surely I’m not the only one frustrated with the dramatically more rigid moderation system that has been implemented since Trent sold out. But to the best of my knowledge, Trent has never addressed this issue publicly.

What if several of us all submitted questions directly to Trent asking, “Hey Trent, what gives with the moderation system?”, maybe he’d include it in a future mailbag. I’m willing to give it a try – anyone else?

And since this comment is undoubtably destined to languish in moderation limbo for an eternity, here’s a tip for people who may actually read it should it ever emerge back from the ether: Make sure you keep plenty of water in the stand for your Christmas tree, to keep it from drying out and becoming a fire hazard.

Never been a big fan of hand sanitizers. I always feel like I need to wash my hands after using to get that junk off of them. Nothing beats good ol’ soap and water.
