If they are not the listing agent for the property, then they are contractually beholden to their clients, the buyers.

Our realtor was an invaluable resource and worked with us on narrowing what we wanted and making the best possible decision for us. She also guided us through a lot of headaches and weird things, had great advice and good contacts that we wouldn’t have otherwise had.

It may take a few interviews, but the right one is incredibly worth it.
