Recently, several people have begun implementing ideas found on The Simple Dollar and writing about them on their own blogs. Here are a few I’ve particularly enjoyed.
We’re In Debt took the one month challenge and wrote about the results (the one month challenge refers to the recording of all spending for one month and then carefully reviewing it). They found that their big weakness was eating out too much, to the tune of several hundred dollars a month too much.
Here are three more people trying out the one month challenge: My Money Blog, Zen Habits, and Bamboo Moon. I’ve linked straight to the entries for all three of them on how their one month challenge is going – you should check them out and perhaps inspire yourself to give it a try.
Lazy Man and Money discovered that maybe he wasn’t making as much money as he thought after trying out 31 Days to Fix Your Finances and figuring up his true hourly wage.
