It’s still dark out, there’s eggs frying in the kitchen, and we’re about ready to head out for some Black Friday shopping. Here’s what I’m getting for a few people on my list.
At Target, I’m picking up a KitchenAid Classic Plus White Stand Mixer, normally $199.99, but only $159.99 today. This one is going to be a huge surprise under the tree for someone who could really use it and has been making do with a terrible hand mixer for years.
We’re hitting the door busters at WalMart to get a Game Boy Micro, regularly $69.99, but only $39.82 today. This is for a gift exchange with a $50 spending cap; I’m also including one of their $9.99 sale games as part of the gift, all of which regularly list for $19.99 to $24.99.
We’re also stopping at Staples for an incredible deal on TaxCut Premium 2007 Federal and State with a free copy of Microsoft Money Deluxe for only $29.99. I was half considering buying Money Deluxe 2007 alone for that price just a month or so ago.
I’m also using my own Sam’s Club membership card with three different people to enable them to pick up various items. Basically, I’m going there with three different people during the day.
It’s going to be a long day, but I’m going to save at least $80 and help others save, too. Wish me luck!
