The Simple Dollar Weekly Roundup: Routine Edition

For the first time in several months, I’m finally settling into a productive routine like I had early last year, when I was far ahead on my writing and able to work on other projects. My second book interrupted this routine and several other things in the interim have prevented things from falling back in order.

What does that routine entail? It usually means three to four hours of writing, one hour of administration and email, two hours of reading, and an hour or two of extended projects.

It’s good to be back into that routine.

Broaden the Concept of Return on Investment (ROI) There are a lot of human factors when you’re looking at the full return on an investment. Personal fulfillment. Connections built. Personal growth. (@ consumerism commentary)

Improve Cash Flow by Paying Off Long-Term Debts That’s one of the real reasons for getting rid of debts – you have more cash to do with what you choose each month. (@ five cent nickel)

How Much is Enough? Most people answer this question on the high side, which is why a lot of people wind up in financial trouble. They’re seeking some level of “enough” that is no longer satisfying and is more expensive than they can afford. (@ unclutterer)

The Other 8 Hours Most of us spend eight hours working and eight hours sleeping. How do you spend the other eight hours in a day? (@ get rich slowly)

How to Sell Your Car on Craigslist I’m going to be writing an article on the flip side of this in a few weeks. (@ fiscal fizzle)
